Leonardo Boutique Hotel Venetian Nicosia is seeking a reliable and proactive Houseman to support the housekeeping team in maintaining public areas, managing linen, and assisting with various operational tasks.
Job Summary:
The Houseman assists the housekeeping department by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, managing linen distribution, and performing general support tasks as instructed by the Floor Supervisor. This role ensures smooth operations and contributes to a clean, safe, and welcoming hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene; wear a clean, well-pressed uniform and name badge at all times.
Deliver lost property to the Housekeeping office promptly.
Collect dirty linen from maids and distribute clean linen to rooms.
Assist in laundry operations and transport linen, clothing, and other materials between floors and linen rooms.
Collect garbage from rooms and public areas; clean and maintain ashtrays.
Receive, transport, and store materials from general stores as required.
Transfer baby cots, extra beds, and mattresses to and from rooms; clean children’s beds.
Prepare bathrobes and slippers for guest rooms as instructed.
Clean high windows, public area floors, restaurants, and carpets, including shampooing rooms with appropriate equipment.
Clean conditioner grills and ventilation filters in rooms and public areas.
Follow hotel Health & Safety rules and GDPR requirements.
Adhere to accident reporting procedures for guests and staff.
Perform any other tasks assigned by management related to housekeeping operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of Greek or English language.
Pleasant and professional personality.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks efficiently.
Team player with strong organizational skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations and GDPR compliance.
