Best Western Plus Larco Hotel is looking for an Executive Housekeeper to lead the hotel’s housekeeping department. In this role, you will oversee housekeeping and laundry functions, manage a diverse team, maintain brand standards, and work closely with other departments to support smooth hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and laundry.
- Ensure all rooms and public areas meet the cleanliness and presentation standards of a 4-star hotel.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, deep-cleaning programs, and preventive maintenance routines.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas, document quality findings, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of linen usage, lost & found items, and maintenance issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Coordinate closely with the Front Office to support timely room readiness and accurate room status updates.
- Ensure VIP rooms and special requests are handled with exceptional attention to detail.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper in a 4-star (or similar) hotel environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Excellent knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning products, and equipment.
- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resources.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to service excellence.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational needs.
